Back ground IMG Help

hello,

this is the code i have for a background img.

body
{
   background: url(../images/theme/backpic.png) repeat;
   font: 78%/130% verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif;
   margin: 0 auto;
   padding: 15px 5%;
}

Is there a way to make the pic the length of the forum? What I have done is increase the size of the pic but is there some sort of code that you should use to stretch the pic instead?

You can't stretch the image when it's a background picture in CSS as far as I know.
