Where do I start checking to get rid of this error ?

QuoteConnection Problems
Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later.

As usual my host is being completely unhelpful. Im so pleased Im moving after the end of this month.

Sadly, I don't think you can do anything. It's down to your host.

Unless, that is, you've changed any settings that may have caused this.

Have you tried using the Repair Settings tool? For more info:
http://docs.simplemachines.org/index.php?topic=663.0

To download it, go here:

If the above doesn't work, make sure all database and path credentials are completely correct in your Settings.php file.

If neither of these work, please let me know.
