Hey everyone!

I am editing text strings for my Change Forum Cursor mod which I submitted, the Customization Team requested a change and with that, I also need to change some of the text strings I had.

However, after I change a string the changes do not show. I have tried everything from clearing my browsers cache, to clearing the forums cache as well as editing multiple different text files to see if those would change.

Any suggestions as to why my changes aren't showing up?

You can try manually clearing the cache folder incase it didn't actually happen for some reason (if you tried through the admin area?)

If that still doesn't work, I suggest doing a batch search of all forum files as the string is almost certainly still present somewhere.

Are you testing on localhost or on a live site?

Namecheap (domains)
Fastmail (e-mail)
Linode (VPS)

I am on a localhost, and yes I cleared the forum cache via the admin panel.

I saw that, I was just answering your question.

Arantor

He asked you if you cleared it manually NOT through the admin panel, i.e. physically deleting and recreating the directory via FTP.

I was letting him know that I did it through the Admin area.

Arantor

Yes, and he was saying to do it manually as opposed to using the admin area.

Arantor...you blocked my PM so I'll just say it here...you're fine, and I really hope you change your mind.
