Is the a feature (i didn't found) which can show all users klicked an specific thread ?

In Board index you can see thread stats like 7 answers / 120 klicks. If you klick on klicks, you should see all users klicked this thread. This is very useful to know who watched....

Thank you for sharing the idea. However, this is not going to be a feature in core SMF.
One of the reasons is that to my knowledge most people/forums don't need it.
Another reason is that IMHO, this *may* be considered a privacy issue, too. I know not everyone will agree. But at the very least, if such features which have effects on privacy (perhaps expected effects, or okay effects, or perhaps not, they are still effects on privacy) are to be added to SMF, personally I would expect a lot of good reasons *for* them and problems without them, otherwise I would not consider them justified. While in this case, I don't see it, sorry.

Please note that users have the possibility to "hide when they're online", meaning they can choose to NOT be visible to others if they are reading a thread or not.

That said, it should be quite easy to make a modification doing this, if there isn't one already, because who read what is actually logged in the database. (with the limitation that, again, it is users choice to reset the log about what they read, too)
To-do lists are for deferral. The more things you write down the later they're done... until you have 100s of lists of things you don't do.

Sure i can do this via mysql but along with total users online mod it should be ok knowing who was watching an specific thread (eg. agree to terms of service, etc.) without "phising" them out of database.
If exist, also a feature like "READ THREAD" would be enough to my needs.

Norv

Alternatively, to have users agree to the (updated) terms, you may want to take a look at: http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=727

I have 2.0 RC3 and this mod seems not to be compatibel; anyway - it would be great having this feature along with any new thread so i can force a read receipt not only for the terms of service.

Norv

Sorry for getting back so late at this.

If I understand correctly, you would have in mind to try to make something (actions on the forum) depend on whether some users have read a certain thread?

Yes - may a feature by admin to see who watched a specfic thread.

Norv

I'm afraid it sounds like a mod request, rather, because I have never seen it asked elsewhere, and anyway at most updated registration agreement (if even that) would be closer to being in default SMF... this seems like an advanced version of that.

It's may an mod but it's maybe also an enhancement to the current function "who is actually in thread" - so may i get a "who was in this thread"...
