Duplicate entry '9597' for key 'PRIMARY'

While trying to convert I get the following error and am unable to convert.  this is PHPBB3 to 1.1 and occurs while trying to convert the posts.

Can you please make sure to empty the smf_messages table, and try again then? The table is in the SMF's database, and it might be named with another prefix if you chose another prefix when installing SMF. ("your_prefix_messages")
