Can't view anything other than header..?

hey all,

unforunately i am a damn noob when it comes to smf..

i have been loading different themes for my smf and i have loaded one which now i can only view the header. i cant get into anything. most importantly the admin section to fix it.

any ideas?

Hi you probably added a theme which wasn't compatible with your version SMF.

Adding ?theme=1 to the url to your forums should get the default theme to load.

ahhhhhh! i love you lol. sweet cheers for the efficient and spot on reply. i am not sure, i did not set it all up. it was set up and fished off to me. how do i find out version?

You can see the version of your forums on the bottom of the page "Powered by SMF X.X".

For themes, that is shown on the download page. 1.1 themes should install on any version SMF 1.1. However 2.0 RC2 themes can only be used on 2.0 RC2

2.0 does have quite a few more features than 1.1. It's not in final release yet but it is stable. However there's not as great a variety of mods or themes available yet.

The topic solved button should be above the quick reply box on the left. It might be that you can't see it in this board. I'll mark it as solved for you. It should be in red now.

Which version of SMF are you using so I can move this to the appropriate forum as this isn't a bug.
