on Safari all the signatures were messed up and not aligned properly with the curve them on smf 2.0 RC2.

to fix this I had to edit webkit.css and delete:

/* special styles for Safari (and other Webkit based browsers like Chrome)
Webkit needs this otherwise the post goes off to the right.
Causes issues in IE browsers in (and cached search engines pages it breaks them).
*/
.postarea .post
{
float: left;
}

This code does not fix safari but rather causes the problem.

Thank you Calumks,

Just what I googled, going to try asap

btw, did you test to see if it brakes compatibility with other WebKit browsers (Chrome/Omniweb)?

kaamaru

Nope, checked on Safari, internet explorer, iPhone safari.

Back to confirm that your hack coupled with this hack seem to get the job done, at least till the devs come up with an official fix.

Tested with most webkit-based browsers (Safari, iPhoneSafari, Chrome, OmniWeb)

Thanks again :)
