Logging in and out problem after moving forums / hosting

Today I moved my forums / hosting.

Since I moved it I've started getting logging in and out problems.

When members first log in they are told 'password incorrect', if they log in again, password is ok and they log in.

When members log out they get Session verification failed. Please try logging out and back in again, and then try again, but if they press logout again they do get logged out.

Each logging in and out operation has to be done twice.

Any ideas?

Database driven is checked and the only difference I can see in the settings is a different cookie number.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

I found this issues is giving error logs for password incorrect.

I've had a good search round the forums and tried the following: -

run repair_settings.php, changed cookie to SMFCookie11, turned on and off queryless urls.
Turned compression on and off.
Enable local storage of cookies is un-checked
Database driven is checked
Pacakges > Options > Only standard files are writeable and clicked change file permissions.

This is happening for my members and creating an error for every member in forum error log.

I transferred the exact same forums to another Domain that I own, completely different URL, that site is not having any issues whatsoever.

Could the problem be caused because I moved the domain to another registrar and the hosting to a new host? Could it be that DNS hasn't fully propagated even though you can log in and out on the second attempt each time?

Even If I log in as Admin, everytime I click on Admin I need to re-enter my password. So If I go to admin > home > then back to admin I need to re-enter my password.

Really need some advice on this please.

Could this be an issue with the new server host?

i faced this problem earlier but i dont know how and when it was resolved.. now it is okay but replaced with a new problem..
now  if i check the box "always logged in" while logging in.. then i will never be able to log out..

Use database driven sessions" and "Use subdomain independent cookies" are checked.

and i dont think it is a server settings problem.. i told you that on other themes it works fine but on cargo it is showing error...

one more thing... if i set time duration to be logged in then i will be logged out automatically after that time.. i think it means that "Use database driven sessions"  function is not working... and if i set to be logged in always..i will never be able to logged out unless i clear my cookies..

i made the scene more clearer.. i hope i will get some great help in this matter..

Found it was the Ajaxchat shoutbox creating this problem.

Done a fresh install, added mods one by one and found the shoutbox to be the problem.

Any ideas why enabling this would cause this issue?
