Hello everyone,

How do I allow guests to browse only in certain pages of the forum?
e.x. I would like guests to be able to view "Home"  & "Calender" pages beside "Help" page.. other pages will remain blocked

admin center-> features&options-> general
I unchecked this  "Allow guests to browse the forum"

this option, block every page but "help" and "register"

now in order to view any page guest must register/log-in
as seen here http://www.californiaturkleri.com/ [nofollow]

Thank you for helping in advance!!

Admin -> Configuration -> Features and options -> General

Modify the settings to allow "Allow guests to browse the forum".

Admin -> Members -> Permissions -> General Permissions -> Guests

Modify the permissions to allow "View the calendar"

Admin -> Forum -> Boards -> Modify Boards

Edit the boards you want to allow guest access to, and you will find a setting for "Allowed Groups: Groups allowed to access this board."

Thank you for the reply LexArma!

I want guests to see log-in when they click on forum. is that possible?

right now, it only hides the boards from quests as they are not exist.
it gives the impression of there is no boards available at all to people who are not familiar with forums.

i apologize, having hard time explaining this. Am i making sense or talking gibberish?

Take a look at this mod, it allows you to show the boards to your guests but deny them entering
