Search and Ignore Boards mismatch?

I have put all language specific boards on ignore from my profile, but board selection in the search page shows Bosanski (Bosnian), Hrvatski (Croatian) and Srpski (Serbian) as selected. Any idea why?

By the way, those boards are not listed in Ignore Boards Options in my profile. Also, they're listed in the forum index, but they're redirection boards to the (combined?) board named Bosanski/Hrvatski/Srpski (Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian).

Is there a bug that lists redirection boards, and marks them as selected, in search options when the board they're redirect to is selected as ignored from the profile?

I tried to search using a word from a topic in the combined board but no results were returned. Are the redirection boards ignored during search (as they should be, since the board they redirect to is put on ignore from the profile) and the selections in the search page are "ghosts"?

In the very least, it seems inconsistent for one area (search) to list redirection boards and another area (profile) not to.

Redirection boards don't affect searching because they're actually empty - and they don't silently cause the redirected-to board to show up in search results.

I did actually post a bug about redirection boards, such that they shouldn't even be listed in the search boards listing in the first place which would avoid this entirely ;)

Exactly, that's what I meant when I said they're "ghosts".

So it's an SMF bug and it's fixed in SVN.

Case closed.
