SMF Patch in Package Manager?

Hi, I got the message to download the patch in the Package Manager.  Why does it say Update Package though?  This is not an update, just the patch right?  Don't want to mess up some of my mods (even though I only have a few  ).

Does the update/patch require us to run upgrade.php also?

It's a package that updates your board the the latest version, in the same way as the package manager normally works, it won't touch your mods, although look out for failed steps as some mods arent compatable.

You don't need to run upgrade.php.
