I read your post incorrectly; let me try this again...

if you want them to view boards, go to Admin==> Features and Options and check "Allow Guests To Browse The Forum".

Also, you can go to Admin==> Permissions ==>  Guests and check any permissions you want them to have.


Admin==>  Registrations==>  Settings  (make sure that your registration is not disabled)
