Can Simple machines be easily combined with other Web system

I have a internal website with a user table contain username&password,and other informations

many operations are based on current user information.

Now I want  to add a simple machine forum into my web site

So I want to know if Simple machine has a interface or port which can easily combined my website

user info with Simple machine user table"smf_members "
