The Template system

Hi, yet another new topic

How powerful is the template system? How does it work (I don't need to know the details)? What things can I do with the template system? Can I use that template system for the non-SMF part of the website?

Pretty powerful .

It has settings, options, layers, context, sub templates, and more .

It can do a lot.  It makes rice and does homework.  It also powers this entire website - the main page, downloads page... it's all the template system .

Hmmz... So the page where you want to use the template-system doesn't have to be in the SMF-directory?

I'm really gonna have to set down some day soon and look at it propley so I can redo my site
