Problem with installed mods

For some reason all my mods that are installed now instead of saying uninstall at the side of them it says install but they all already installed. The thing is i need to uninstall one but can't.. Anyone know how to fix this.

Do you have a recent backup?

If so, look in the Packages directory for installed.list

If that file exists, on your site, try renaming it and replacing it with the backed-up copy.

In Admin>Browse Packages bottom right is Advance. If you Emulate SMF 2.0 RC3 it should show that one mod to unistall. The others that show Install what I did was delete them then installed compatable versions. Don't forget to Revert back to RC4 to install the compatable versions.

Erm no  its only three days old and its my mates forum it was a clean install of RC4 all mods installed with no errors then today when i came to remove one i noticed this

Emulate dont do anything and all mods are for RC4 like i said before they all are installed but say install rather than uninstall

what is your backup folder chmoded too?

Not too sure what you mean, but all my backups get downloaded to my desktop

What i mean is i can't do backups on my server, i only can download partial backups to the desktop, so there is no such thing as a backup folder on the server

Ha so there is

Backup folder is set to 0755
All folders inside that set to 0666 except index.php which is 0644

try making that folder 777

That did not work so i installed a clean set of files which has done the trick, Thanks for trying anyhow
