Error Help on Upgrade

Current SMF Version:  1.1.12

I tried to upgrade to 1.1.12 via the link.. and got the following error:

Im not very good at this.. and not to familiar with manualy updating.. if someone could help, I'd really appreciate it.  I did try to read and follow the manual upgrading instructions on this forums "read first" thread.. but I got lost and could not understand it.

No.  I gave up.  I could not understand the table and what I had needed to do.

The screenshot you posted shows only one file that failed.  Normally you would install the update and manually edit that file.  If you had previously corrected an issue with that file that pertained to smileys, that is probably the reason that it failed and is quite easy to fix.

Sorry.. by Table I meant all the links.. and then the information on those links as well.

Honestly, when you refer someone like me who has no experience, to other threads that have links, and then those thread have links,  it becomes overwhelming.   I couldnt understand which thread or link was applying to me.

all those threads/links apply to this problem and have the fix which is to download the attached file and put it on your server after applying the update.

I saw "tables" in one of the threads.. but I didnt see an attachment to download.. unless Im not looking at a thread correctly?

I now have the manage smileys file.  where to I put it?  How do I install it? (Usually I use the forum installer for everything).

Now that it is in the sources folder.. do I need to do anything else?
Is there a way to check its correct?

as long as your forum works and the upgrade was installed i would not worry.
