Modification Help

I was adding modification called, 'Global Header and Footer'. I did all the steps correctly but it shows me this error.

"Can not open/home/*********/public_html/smf/smfheader.txt."
**** is my username, didnt want to reveal it.

I went to that location and smfheader.txt is there. So how do i fix this?

Is it in the root folder?

like:
home/*********/public_html/smf/smfheader.txt

You sure is not in home/*********/public_html/smfheader.txt ??

If so, did you see the file permissions? Try 755?


smfheader.txt & smffooter.txt should be in the root folder.     In your case,   /smf
