flag package installation problem

I have installed the flag package on my forum and it crashed my site immediately. Luckily I could restore the data but I wonder what was the problem and why did it happen? I would really like this option on my site so that you know which country is the person is. I would be really grateful if someone could help me, here is the address of my forum: bharatconnect.net/forum
There is one more question, I add a few more features in members profiles like birthday, sun sign, timezones etc. We use mainly 2 languages on the forum: English and Russian and when I choose Russian then you can't read anything but I would like that all these names stay in Russian. It seems that they work only with English. Please suggest me what can be done.

is this flag package a mod? if so please use the support topic for that mod. for your other issue you need to edit the correct language files for russian to add the text.

Yes, it is a mod but I wonder why it doesn't work for our forum. Can you please explain in more details about the second issue, how can I edit the correct language files?

you need to find out the file that has the language strings for english and copy that to russian. for the flag issue use the support thread for that mod.

For mod related questions it is best to ask the mod author. You can find a link to a topic for the mod or a support board on the mod's page in the Mod Site.

I just changed our team and somehow it doesn't show flags anymore, although they are installed. What can be done?

what do you mean by "team"? also as said above use the support thread for the mod you have installed.

By theme I mean that we used another background earlier and today I changed it, after that flags are not shown in profile.

it is a theme not a team, most people would consider a team a member group. as suggested above please use their support thread for further help.

If that is the theme you installed, that is the correct topic.  Keep in mind that when it comes to custom themes like that one, you will have to manually edit the affected theme files.  Most modifications only install on the SMF default (core) theme.
