Clear comunity headplace and add a pic. 2.0 RC4

Hi all i want to delete headplace adn add apic in my smf (in box to pic) how i cand do it i try to change index.theample.php but cant do that please help thanks all

As a newbie, this topic is fresher to me than many plus the long term people have heard these basic topics many times over!  The article in the sticky section of this forum titled 'Creating Themes for SMF 2.0 - 01 The Basics' will help you understand the basics as it says!  The bottom line is that this ain't all that easy but this article may be enough depending what you want.  The solution here would allow an image to be placed where you want it but not links, etc.

It is easy to change the top left text area to an image or logo.  It is also easy (but requires minimally entering the code) to change out the right SMF logo and to link it to something should you want to do that.  There is also a mod called 'Global Headers and Footers' that will allow appending these elements to the forum that might be of interest although I believe that that just adds these elements above and below the whole forum. 

Those are some hints.  I don't mind letting you more specifics about what I have learned but I have stayed within the constraints of adding the two top images from a header perspective.  You do need to use the search here and read some articles that are already written here too.

i look the topic "Creating Themes for SMF 2.0 - 01 The Basics" but not hep me he tell change head place but i want delete all headplace and add a pic (big logo).  i try to delete here in index.teample.php but all headplace gone user login search and menus. i want delete only user login search smflogo name
