No. Because that is not what i am looking for. I already know how to ban and my moderators also know. I just dont want my moderators to see the peoples ip adresses.

It's possible, of course.

I suggest you look at Display.template.php and Profile.template.php for a start.

Moderators already cant see the ip adresses on the profiles and the posts.
They can see the ip adresses only on the "Add new ban" and "Edit the ban" pages.

If you can't find it, let me know and I'll find the code for you.

Furthermore - I do believe there is a mod for View IP Permission

But, I would suggest looking at the template for adding a new ban.

I guess you didnt pay enough attention.

So im pretty sure display.template.php or profile.template.php is not the issue.

I think we are getting close to the source. Where can i find the codes for seeing the ip adress on "Add new ban" and "Edit the ban" pages?

Or, maybe you just didn't read my last post...check out the template for banning. If you can't find it, let me know and I'll pull the edits for you.

I am trying to look through my Profile.Template.php but cannot find...

If you really really need to have a way to completely hide IPs from moderators, and still have them to be able to ban people - then perhaps 2.0 is your answer. Set up warnings so that your moderators can effectivily ban people by raising their warning level to a 100%.

This is actually how it is done on this site as well.

PLAYBOY

Thx for the advice but i cant upgrade it to 2.0 yet. It would take 3 days to adjust everything. I think about to wait until there is a stable version.

2.0 RC4 is a lot better than 1.1.12 in my opinion, regardless of what it's named.
