Okay, so i discovered today that when i make a user a moderator of a board it doesn't show the moderator symbol next to their name when they post in that board, Also i would like to know if it is possible to make different color names for Administrators, G Moderators, Moderators, and Premium Users when they post. My current version is SMF 2.0 RC4.

Thanks

EDIT: Also, for some strange reason my forums show the Comcast symbol on the tab when you open the page, is there anyway to fix that?
EDIT: And ALSO when i use the Quick-Reply thing at the bottom of the page, is there anyway for me to change it that it goes to your post on the thread?

One mod I use is http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=1077

Another is Member Color Link

Have a look through the topics for the updates.

I use both mods on my forum.

Neither of them worked, I'm on RC4 and can code little to no HTML.

Nope, do you think you could help? and sorry didn't know.

The comcast symbol is called a favicon, to change this, simply delete their favicon.ico from your public_html, or upload your own.

Regarding making the quick reply link to the latest post when you submit a post? That would involve some custom coding to Display.template.php.

To get the "moderator symbol" to show in a post on a board that the user has been made a mod of you need to go to Admin>membergroups and click on modify next to the moderator group.  Once in there you can tell it what image you want it to use.  In order to get it to display more than one image though (if the member is part of more than one group with images, it will only display the primary group image) you need the Stars and Badges mod
http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=1110.

Also when you are in the modify membergroup you can change the color of the membergroup name, but that will only show in the who's online list unless you have the member color link mod installed.

Since it's a moderator, you can't modify that membergroup. It's for when you make a user a Moderator of the board it doesn't show up.

Illori

you can fully modify that member group, you can just not assign people to join it. also by default the moderators group has stars assigned and they show up when a person is a moderator of a board instead of their normal group/stars.
