phpBB 1.4.2 to SMF 2.0 RC4

I've had SMF installed a few months now and had sort of forgotten about my old installation of phpBB 1.4.2. But recently I thought about all the interesting posts there are in phpBB. My site is about Fuchsias and there are a lot of posts about growing them in the old forum.

What is the best way for me to move these posts in SMF? I looked at the converters and there isn't one for phpBB 1.4.2. I don't even think I need a converter really, just the text from the posts. So I'd like to know the "easiest" way to accomplish moving those posts. Thanks.

The reason there's no converter for phpBB 1.4.2 is because that version of phpBB is extremely outdated - phpBB2 had already been out for several years when SMF is started.

If you can give us a database dump, we can probably whip something up for you that will pull the relevant data into SMF.

Thanks for the offer. I can't give you a dump just yet. My host company was bought out and they are currentlly moving to new servers and I don't have access to the database. When I do I'll get back to you. Thanks again.
