2 year Data loss please help

Yesterday, I found that the latest post shows 5 Dec 2011. I miss all the posts since then. How did that happen and is there a way to fix the problem? I used the forum as a support system. 

I also have suddenly a problem with another forum :
Cannot connect to database, server is busy.

Please help

Looks like your host may be having problems with their database servers.  Contact support and see what they tell you.  Hopefully you've been backing up your databases regularly.

IF you have not backed up the database, make sure you ask your host to re install their latest backup. A good host will also regularly back up their files without you asking them to.

Having said that, if you are not in the habit of backing up your database, after this is over, you might start.
