How make the MODERATORS able to edit ALL their posts everywhere?

As told in the subject, I'm beginning crazy around this... How can I do to make the Moderators able to edit ALL their posts everywhere and with any time limit?

Moderators can do that, by default.

Only on the boards they moderate, though.

If you want Global moderators, who can do that on the entire forum, you'll need to create a special membergroup, for them, and give them those permissions.

well there is a global moderator group in smf by default, you just need to verify the permissions for each group and make sure they can edit their own posts.

I tried to do what you suggested to me, but I didn't have success.
That simple thing - to edit ALL their post EVERYWHERE - seems to be impossible for the Moderators... and even for the global moderators
Is there something I don't understand? Could you help me in deep?

which "moderators" are you talking about? global or local moderators? in the permissions for that group do you have modify posts for own and any checked?

There is, yes. Default install creates the admin group (group 1), global mods (group 2), board mods (group 3) and post count groups (4 through 9)

I'm speaking about "board moderators". I'd like they could edit their posts everywhere and with no time limits.
Take in mind that I've set a general time limit of 30 minutes to edit the posts...

the board moderators group only applies to those boards, you will need to create a group for those people with that permission and put them in it, an additional member group if you dont want it visible.
