Mass Moving or Changing of Membergroups

Is there anyway that I can mass change membergroups?  I have over 255 member accounts and I need to sort them differently?  Anyone know of a mod or the way you can do it.

Depends on what you want to do. I would imagine you could run a simple query on the database to go through and change a bunch of members to be in a different group. But you have to have some sort of way to identify who you want to move. So how do you know who you want to put in that group?

Sorry for interrupting the thread. >.< Erm, the moderator only able to warns users in their own section or they are able to warns user in all the section of the forum? Secondly, once they enter to other section which they do not moderate the particular section, they will become normal user and without the moderator tag?

please open your own thread about your issue, i dont see how this has any relation to the ops request and it is easier for the support team to track if you use a separate topic.

Really, what I am looking for is the ability to instead of click to remove the ability to click to change.  This way, I can just go through the member list and pick and choose and then change into that membergroup (Instead of going to each account and changing the primary group on the account).  I have tried to use the add account on the mod section but it doesn't change the primary group only adds a new group.

There is no way built into SMF that allows you to pick and choose the members to add and remove groups on like that. If you want something like that you'll have to make a mod request or something.
