SMF2 Installation with SQlite Fails

I just set up my new server and wanted to migrate my smf2rc5 forum

now I tried to set up my brand new smf2 but wanted to not have a mysql server on my server so I decided to go for SQlite.

now I'm stuck at installation step 2 (10%) where it tells me


!!Critical Error!
Cannot connect to the database server with the supplied data.

If you are not sure about what to type in, please contact your host.
unable to open database: /var/www/rpgnom/smf_6c5085ec8b.db

but since I didn't supply any "data" I can'T think of what I could'Ve done wrong
