Convert smf 2 to smf 1

I tried searching for this and maybe my search-engine fu isn't good enough... but is there a way to convert smf 2 boards to smf 1?  I've got a site that I've been running for some folks where they want to use the drupal-smf bridge, and it only seems to be useful for smf 1.  Is there a sane way to migrate?

Alternately, is there a version of the bridge for drupal 6 to smf 2?

There is no script for downgrading.
Your only options are:
- use a backup. If you upgraded from SMF 1.1.x to SMF 2, then perhaps you made a backup of your database before upgrading? If so, then you can use that backup, restore it in the database. As for files, please do grab then a SMF 1.1.11 large upgrade package, and unzip and upload all files over your SMF files, overwriting all. You should get a working installation of the SMF 1.1.11 prior to upgrading.
Please note that in this case, all data (posts, new members, everything) that happened on your board after upgrading to SMF 2. would be lost.
- manually modify the database until you revert all its structure to SMF 1.1.11. structure. This is probably not what you call a "sane choice", because it's a lot of work and I wouldn't recommend you try unless you know what you're doing... and of course please don't even think of trying that on your live forum, only on a test forum :). It's a big amount of work, anyway.
- use conversion to another board software, like Kill Em All pointed out. While I didn't see this solution used too much, it might be the best... I'm not sure however how well the data converts to phpbb3, never tried their converter. (so I don't know what you might lose if anything at all, on the way)

On another note, can you please tell, what bridge to drupal are you referring to?
To-do lists are for deferral. The more things you write down the later they're done... until you have 100s of lists of things you don't do.

Spyfinch please stop bumping old topics with your link to a converter that is not approved by the team. if people post in the future that they wish to downgrade then you can post the link.
