Remove Topic Notification

Can we get a feature to put a message when removing a Topic ??

Currently a Message is sent that the topic was removed, but i think we should be able to put a custom message as well, like, 'Duplicate Topic removed' etc .. So as to Alert the User..

OMG...    I would disagree with this most intensely. The boards alreayd get cluttered up with "moved" notification posts...   if we were to clutter the threads and boards with "removed" notifications, a lare board would quickly become unreadable.

For a very (VERY) small board, this might be a reasonable mod, but, yikes.....

No it would only be sent to the user via PM ,,.. no post will be made

Oh...  Whew....  Ok, I can see the point of THAT request.

Even with it sending a PM to the user... it's not practical for larger boards to have something like this.  IMHO, this should be a Modification package, rather than a core feature.

Remember it will be optional to enter a message .. it will behave normal when no message is added.

Some people keep re-posting, would be good to hit them with a message or warning when removing the topic

We get people doing that all the time.  That's what the warning system is also good for.
