Hello,

I'm searching and can't find the template which contains the code for the clip.gif. I want to change the topic index, if there are attachments in a topic, the clip is shown. Now I want to add a link to this clip.gif if there are attachments.

after lot of searching I found the clip.gif in MessageIndex.Template.php on Line 254.

Now I have another point. The Clip is not shown on every Topic with attachments. It ist only shown if the first post contains attachments. Is it possible to change this to show clip.gif everytime a topic has attachemnts?

I'm not sure what's going around here, but on my search I found clip.gif in Display.template.php.

Also clip.gif should shown on the posts/replies having attachments.

Are you having some mod installed to show clip.gif on MessageIndex.template.php

To search text string in multiple files you can use tools like Notepad++ or Fileseek.
