Number of post views is undermining our credibility!

We have a new forum that we haven't even promoted yet however we are getting an extraordinary number of "views." This seems entirely out of line, given the fact that there are no comments made. Is there an error or problem as inferred above? I believe the number of views shown is entirely incorrect and undermines the credibility of the forum. I see that there are many other comments citing this problem but I have yet to find a credible response.  Please help!

Thanks for the welcome. It is hard to believe it is search engines. I have been on other forums that have been around for years (not just a month like us and we haven't promoted the forum yet) and they don't have anywhere near the number of views. Are you sure there is not a software problem?

Maybe you should try  a check on IP Address,so it becomes clear were all those viewers come from.(Spams maybe !!)

They're everywhere, lately. Especially Chinese ones.

Maybe those other sites have spiders/bots blocked?
