Add PM mailboxes

I have searched this forum and read the FAQ's and can find nothing in regards to adding extra mailboxes / folders in the PM section.

I had the ability to add mailbox / folder to sort and store my PM's in YaBB 1.3.2.
I get a lot of PM's and need to sort and store them out of my IN PM mailbox.

I found no mods to do this either. I find that odd as it should be pretty simple to do.

I was wondering about something more sophisticated than the YaBB mail archieve. How about mail generated as threads?

Maybe this does not sound sensible to some, but if you consider that sometimes a conversation suttles back and forth, it would be really handy to have it all together. You could then, perhaps, archieve the thread? - This would be especially handy for admins, as we sometimes would like to keep some inportant PMs, without either copy/pasting them, or having a huge store of PMs. Although PMs can be sorted by title or member, it's still a jumble, and does not show your replies in between.

So, threaded mail, might this be something to be included in the future, or as a mod?

I do believe threaded mail is something we want in the future. Otherwise, have you checked your mailbox here? SMF 1.1 has "labels" which are like folders except you can label your messages in many ways. I think it's quite neat

Any documentation we can look at about labels.
I need to save messages and get them out of my PM IN box.

Someone was saying if they delete the messages in the PM IN box it deletes the messages out of the labels as well.

Is there no mod for this at this time?

Hi Grudge,

I hadn't noticed that. I have very few PMs here, so I can't assess it properly. It does look like it could be quite useful though.

I'd still like to see threaded mail though!
