I am setting up a forum using SMF 2.0.2 which is in English, I have downloaded the Indonesian Language pack and its installed, Is it possible to have a site landing page that contains the site logo, and just 2 buttons, English and Indonesian. When a user arrives, they can select their language, and the site displays in whatever they have chosen (except postings and topics of course) If this isnt simple, is it possible just to add a couple of buttons to the HOME page instead?

Some of my students dont speak any English at all (that makes teaching VERY interesting!!) and find navigating the forum difficult.

Many thanks for the link, ive downloaded the package 2.0 and uploaded it to the site, i installed the Indonesian UTF8 language pack first, and enabled the box to allow user selection of language. From here the instructions are a little vague and confusing. I cannot find anywhere that allows me to turn the option 'ON' and even though this option is installed, i cannot see any difference on the page, where have i gone wrong?

HI, I think you might need to upload the English UTF-8 langauge pack for both languages to appear.

If at first you don't succeed, use a bigger hammer. If that fails, read the manual.

Yes the default language pack was English (US) ISO... I downloaded English (British) UTP-8 and selected that as the default, the Indonesian language pack is the same, but again, i can see nothing, ive selected all of the 3 button options and nothing appears, ive logged out and back in again, ive even hovered the mouse over all of the black area's in case the buttons were in black, im just at a loss here to see whats wrong?

The best thing to do would be to post in the support topic for that  mod. Go to the page you downloaded the mod from and there'll be a button on the top which will take you to that topic.
