More customization on user bar

The user bar with our avatar, no. of posts, reputation etc cannot be avoided in forums as they mostly give user generated content. But with most forums opting for portal like set ups with sidebar or pillar ads on the side, the space for content is very less. I know there is mod to make the user bar horizontal, but it is universal now. If admin choose Horizonatal user bar, there is no option for individual users to select their choice. I see in some other scripts, users can choose the sidebar position even without a mod. They can choose, right, left, top and bottom with just a single click. I will be nice if we can have such an option in SMF.

that would be a theme related request.  Some themes have exactly what you are asking for - others have removed the "user bar" completely.   So, find a theme that does what you want.

Thanks Kindred. I found the current theme after a lot of search. Would like to continue with the same. Any other way to get it done ? But I think adding to a script or a mod which does it will be great help.

It's a theme design thing, so edit the theme to display the information in the way you wish.
