403 Forbidden when Saving Censored Words

Hi,

I am just getting to the final stages of setting up my forum and was entering some words into the Censored Word list but when I hit save I got a 403 Forbidden page with this message:

You don't have permission to access /index.php on this server.

Any ideas what could be causing this, everything else on my forum seems to be working perfectly alright.

Talk to your host. It's probably an issue with Apache's mod_security module, which includes the ability to scan the page/data for certain words and throw random weird errors like that if they're found. I never have understood how that makes things more secure, but many hosts still insist on using it.

Cheers for that, yes apparentely it was mod-security rule 300068 that was causing the error. All sorted now.
