Hello Folks, I am running a small site on SMF 2.0.2. I love it, and SMF has been great to use. We recently moved hosts and are back up and running, and everything seems to be ok, but I have found one small issue.

One of my users has a post from 1 year ago that he is trying to quote. When he tries to post his message from a year ago as a quote he gets a 403 error message which states the following.
QuoteYou don't have permission to access /tgorforum/index.php/board,4/action,post2.html on this server.

I am not sure if this is related to the move or not, but would appreciate any help to solve this. If you need any additional details please let me know.

After recreating this error message I had my IP blocked by my host provider. When I asked them why they said
QuoteYour IP got blocked in the server due to mod_sec rules. For your reference: (mod_security) mod_security triggered by MY IP DELETED (MY IP INFO DELETED): 2 in the last 300 secs - *Blocked in csf* for 86400 secs [LF_MODSEC]

Could this error have caused me to be blocked by modsec?

It is possible yes. There is a post around somewhere about mod_security. I know it is old but it may help in your situation:

Thank you! This might be my issue, I am checking with my host to see if they can turn Mod_security off.
