Translate Posts into PDF's

Some of my posts on my site I will eventually want to export to some sort of document, and I was wondering if anyone new of a way to get this done with PDF's?  Perhaps you could make it so that each post was "PDF-able", then each thread/board, then each category, and finally the whole site, so there are several levels of what you can post.  You could also make it so that only certain parts of the post are exported to PDF, for example, just the first post in every thread and not the replies.

Anyone know of something like this or are working on this?  Anyone wanna work on it?  I'm a novice so I wouldn't know where or how to begin.  Just thought I'd post this general idea to see if anyone is keen to take it up.

I tried that on yabbse using FPDF .. I'm thinking of doing it for SMF but do not know when

Otherwise, do you know how to do it this way for SMF 2.x ?
