Yeah, Enigma is coming out with Enigma 2 for SMF. It will be as seamlessly integrated as Enigma was for YSE, and so far it looks like we'll use SMF's templating system instead of ours. As to when... as soon as we have something presentable to show you, we will, but we're hoping it will be soon. We still have to run our code by the Simple Machine folks and get an okay from them to release it.

You'll know more when we know more. :)

I have been using Enigma 1 for years and was VERY happy with it. Until some time ago, when I had to upgrade to SMF since I needed more functionalities (i.e. permissions).

Now I am very very happy with SMF, but also I'm missing the added value of Enigma a lot... And as you see in this thread and in the discussion on the forum of Enigma (www.lunabyte.com), many of us still are waiting for Enigma 2 to become available. (And that won't take very long anymore!)

I am confident that once it's there, Enigma 2 will prove to be one of the best (even when sticking to only Enigma 1 functionalities, but I know it will be much better).

Enigma 2 is getting there slowly but surely.... but if any of you like to help them speed things up a little bit, I think they might welcome your help!

I'm no coder and don't really want to be.  I'm a marketer and a manager engaged in a new startup.  I don't have a webmaster and am trying to do everything myself until there is a semblance of cashflow.

So I'm using http://www.mysitebuilder.co.uk/ [nofollow]  it's a simple and easy to use portal.  Integrates well with SMF and the support is excellent.  It is a beta so you need to register and be a SMF user to get on the beta test team.

My site is really starting to look decent, thanks to the help I've been getting :)
