Okay, so ive tried posting this else where with no answer....I installed Password Protect Board 2.0 on my site with I have 2.0.2 but it seem to install cause all the test came out good before installing. Anyways I read the parse to 2.0 but I don't know what I am suppose to do with all those codes.  For example:

So where do all these go? What exactly do I do with them? How do they function? where is ./Sources/Load.php located? (yeah it's like that ) The host im using is 000webhost am I suppost to go into  Cpanel>file manger from my host? or do I use my Forums Administrative? or what? I don't know how to use these codes or where to stick em' at :o. If you answer please be specific I don't understand code language at all lol....

Getting a little frustrated here, I am a newbie  and I don't know how to use codes and mods. I tried posting this in the area where they help regarding this mod someone said that we all live in different places where its day here might be night there....and I understand hours and zones are different. I asked for help Last night pacific time like at 2am and now its 10:46pm and no answer.... till now I got no help so pleaaaase if you know what I am talking about can you steer me in the right direction, anyone it doesnt matter just need help so I can just move on with my forum  :-[

Just do this with your package manager within your admin panel of SMF then within the package manager there is advanced thing below klick on that... now on the next screen you get you put in the version nummer of 2.0 instead what there is already like 2.0.2 then install it... if you dont know where these codes go... better dont touch it... coz its a bit complicated how it works if you dont understand....

for example the image you have attached explains it a bit but depends on what did the mod autheur uses when he created the mod.. the older boardmod situation or the XML situation.

when boardmod is used then its pretty simpel to follow

when XML is used there you get some things to know if XML tells before it means after and visa versa after means before... this is explained else where in better english as mine in the wiki ;)

The OP already did... That's what the question is all about!

AFAIK there are almost no mods with the .mod architecture anymore. Theres like 97% change of it being .xml. Also, the Password Protect Board mod is rather new, rom what I've seen.

Why would you use the XML files? Why not use the parse function on this site? Don't try to fix something that ain't broken...

@Mishqa: Those codes are instructions you can use to install the mod without using the package manager. So for example if the instructions say:

Code (Find) Select
Test
Code (Add After) Select
ing
You will get
Code (Result) Select
Testing
in the file mentioned.
