Moving forum to new domain

I currently run a forum on a domain. The url is in the format:

www.OLDDOMAIN.com/forum/

I want to move it to:

forum.NEWDOMAIN.com

All on the same server.

I'd be grateful for any clue on how to do this. I assume I would be able to use the original database files?

Move all of the files, then run this:
