Creating another tab, and a homepage.

Well I got a few questions (as a beginner to website development).

My first question would be on how to add a "Donate" tab beside all the other ones and be able to edit it. E.g. "home,register,login,forums" ---> www.notoriousgamers.org [nofollow] (that's my site)

2nd question would be on how to make a homepage. Something similar to my friends website ( www.justicecraft.net [nofollow] ) who's running xenforo. Notice how he has a music player and all that. I tried looking on the forums and honestly everything I wrote came up as insignificant to the searches. Even if anyone knows any links to a tutorial, I wouldn't mind following that.

Remove all blocks add some Custom HTML/PHP blocks and work on it.

Actually Antes, I'm not sure that's exactly what he needs...

homepages can be made with any of the portal mods (there are 5 or 6 that will do it)
Additionally, pages can be added within a few of the portal mods or with a different mod if the portal mod that you choose doesn't wallow it.

I have SimplePortal installed and when I press add page and make something. It doesn't show up at the top. Also I'm scared to try it manually because I'm worried that I'll mess up my site again. Any other portal plugins you guys would recommend?
