instant messenger mod request

I think it would be nice if someone could try to  work on this instant messenger for  smf board.
here's how i want it to work.....

when a member sign on   i want the instant messenger to pop up on his or her screen 
let them add friends  and be able to communicate with them  on the live instant messenger...

can anyway  give it a try....

You can do that with Jabber...can't you...I will bet $10 you can do that with Jabber...not THAT bu close.

do a google search.  it's an open source IM platform.  Google Talk is based on it, for example.

I must admit that i really like the idea....I really do...but I cannot program to save my life....yet...
