Okay so I saw some mods have 3.0 beta on them.  Does that mean that there is a download of this update that we can upload and play around with?
In case, I forget to say.  I am using 2.0.2

It doesn't exist, if you're talking about an SMF 3.0. It is possible that some mods have 3.0 beta versions of themselves available, but that is nothing to do with SMF versions.

Yeah, I see that now.  It is what I get for miss reading.  Sorry about that. I got all excited for now reason.
In case, I forget to say.  I am using 2.0.2

No prob. There is a 2.1 Alpha for SMF, but that's as far as it's gone at the moment.
