marked as crashed and last (automatic?) repair failed

My forum database now seems to have this problem on a weekly basis on this table _messages

When this problem happens, the table in myphpadmin shows "in use"

I know I could repair the table in myphpadmin.

Any permanent solution or what might be the problem to cause this regularly?
