Password Reset doesn't send

My forum is not sending password recovery emails. I tried resetting my password and I never revived the email for it, I retried it twice. I know for a fact my email on my account is correct also.

well you would need to get into your smf admin and check the mail settings.

But which SMPT or PHP server do I use? I'm sure my webhost didn't supply one.

well, most hosts WILL have phpmail....

if you want to use SMTP, you will need to know all the configuration settings.

If PHP send_mail is not working then you will need to acquire the SMTP mail settings from your host. If you want to advise who your host is we might be able to give some more specific instructions.

Is it just the reset emails that you are not receiving or is it all emails from the forum? Have you checked your spam folder?

Just reset emails so far, its the only mail my forum would send. Also i have checked spam and nothing

The PHP default email setting should work. Try contacting your host, asking if they can look at the problem.
