File attaches to post correctly, and is in /attachments directory, but cannot download it from board.  Tried IE8 & FF.

When in Emor, do as the Snamors.

Storman™

Reproduced in 2.0.7 and tried with Chrome 32.0.1700.107, Firefox v27, and IE11.

Didn't have a problem in any of them but maybe it's due to yours being older versions?

kat

Is there a link to such a file, so that we can try it out?

Sir Osis of Liver

Tried to d/l it with IE8, FF21, and Pale Moon (current version FF clone).   The .rar should not have uploaded, it's not included in default list of allowed extensions in attachment settings (bug?).  Adding it does not clear the d/l problem.

It's in a closed forum, K@, and it's not my file, so would rather not post it elsewhere.

Shame. What if you right-click>Save target as?

Sir Osis of Liver

Just hangs.  IE8 can't retrieve file info.  If you want to bother, you're welcome to register here and I'll give you access to the board.

Going off now, back on tomorrow afternoon.

Time for a beer.

Tried to register. I can't seem to enter a verification code, though. :(

Hmm, works for me.  Try a different browser.

kat

Hmmm... I did. Maybe Ghostery's squiffing it. I'll have another go. :)

kat

Nope. Tried seven different browsers, too. :(

Sir Osis of Liver

Works for me in IE8, FF21, O12, PaleMoon24.  O18 won't open (not surprised).

Are you seeing the keypad?
Are you seeing the verification code?
Are you keying it in, or trying to type it into the input field (you can't)?

Works for me in all browsers. Are you disabling javascript?

kat

Nope. I disabled Ghostery, NoScript and all that stuff. I even tried a browser that has zero protection and that was the same. :(

******, I even tried IE...

Sir Osis of Liver

Are the keys animated?  Should change color when you mouseover, and push in when you click on them.

Don't think this internet ****** will ever catch on.  :P

You're activated and should see the Wrongwood board.

OK, yeah. That's weird, innit?

I get the "Waiting for something" cursor and nothing happens. If I right-click and try to save it, there, it just does diddly-squat. That's with both Opera v12 and v20.

K-Meleon tries, really hard. But, eventually, it comes-up with "Internal Server Error".

With Waterfox, when I try the right-click thing, it works, except for the fact that it tries to save a file simply called "index" and, when I try to save that, it just hangs. PaleMoon does the same.

IE 10x64 says "Waiting for krashsite" and sits there, doing nuffin'.

IceDragon went one stage weirder. That tried to get me to save a file named "index_php?action=dlattach;topic=35_0;attach=118". Go figure that one!

I wonder of the file's so big that it breaks some php.ini rule...

Sir Osis of Liver

It's just under 9.8 mb.  Don't remember what php.ini settings are, but if it uploaded it should d/l.  No time to tinker with it now.  Been trying for days (and nights) to get a clean 2.0.7 install to upload avatars, not having any luck.

I would've thought so, too. But, php.ini can be a bit silly, depending on hosts. ;)
