Admin Latest Packages reads: "A few security vulnerabilities and bugs from SMF 2.0.5 have been fixed. You can install this patch (click here to install) to fix your forum." I get "ERROR 403 - FORBIDDEN." Tried different browsers.

Suggestion please,

Thanks, Kerry

Kerrith,

Try using the SMF Large Upgrade package instead of the patch. The error message could be due to the fact that you are attempting to patch a version that is older than SMF 2.0.6.

or you could just download the patch from sm.org and upload it to your forum...

if you use the large upgrade package, you will end up removing all your installed mods from the files.

and do note... from 2.0.5, you need to patch to 2.0.6 and then to 2.0.7

Thanks Kindred and all.

The reminder to upgrade from 2.0.5 to 2.0.6 and then from 2.0.6 to 2.0.7 worked.
