Upgrade Script Freezes at Splitting Ban Table Step

I am trying to upgrade from 1.1.13 to 2.0 RC5.  Everytime I run the upgrade script it hangs on 12 of 19 (in script 1 of 2) which says is "Updating Ban System...".

The last feedback I get is "Splitting Ban Table done".  *See attached screen

I get a server has not responded error.  I have waited.  I have tried again.  I have started over.  It has been around 6 hours now.  Not sure what is going on.  Could this be a problem with my server or is the database too large?

Any help would be much appreciated.  I am trying to get this forum back up ASAP.  Thanks.

Now it is giving me this error:

Error retrieving information on step: Splitting ban table... (Item: 88)

Now that 2.0 gold is out, have you tried upgrading again?  Were you able to resolve this issue?

I was able to get it upgraded.  Just had to remove the ban table and it worked.  Took about 11 hours though.

I am facing the same issue here. Which table exactly did you remove ?
