This mod would be useful to me, if only it had been updated in the past 5 years or the author would respond.

But since it hasn't been and the author has not responded, anyone want to take this up?

I implemented full and partial SSL support for 2.1, if you want it for 2.0 someone would need to back port it.

It can be modified for one's use. As long as it's not redistributed

On the MOD's support topic it seems someone did make it work with 2.0.x but it's not available anymore...
