issue upgrading to 2.1

when i get to the upgrade it stops at 14% and says this im not sure whats wrong can u please help me

Adding profile columns to boards table...done
Adding profile columns to board permission table...done
Cleaning up some 2.0 Beta 1 permission profile bits...done
Migrating old board profiles to profile system...done

what are you upgrading from and to which exact version of 2.1? is the 2.1 from sm.org or github, if from github what date?

i am upgrading from 2.0.9 and i used the smf website and got the newest version out 2.1 beta version downloaded all the files to my computer and uploaded them all through ftp im not sure why im getting this issue all the files are there and permissions are set correctley

you are upgrading your live forum? you should not be doing that, 2.1 is still in beta and may have issues like this.

ok what do u suggest for me to do to fix this issue  ?

1) Do not upgrade your live forum to SMF 2.1 Beta (unless you accept the fact that things maybe broken and/or unsecure and/or uncompleted)
2) Copy your forum to your localhost (or another sub-part) and perform upgrade there using this
