Hello, Some members on my site are recieving this error for normal functions like posting and responding to a PM. I have tried a few things like clearing file cache and cookies, logs to fix it, and they seemed to work, but it's coming back intermittently. Any thoughts?

"An Error Has Occurred!
Session verification failed. Please try logging out and back in again, and then try again."

Then, when you try to log out, this error just refreshes.

there seems to be a problem with your sessions...

The only way to fix the issue, if it happens, is to clear your personal cookie(s) for the site to force a logout...
As an admin, you can change the cookie name...

I tried clearing cookies, and that did not work. I'm not sure what you mean by experiementig with database driven sessions?

Here is my phpinfo file.

This seems to have happened after Dreamhost upgraded us to PHP 5.5 a few days ago.

If I use this tool, is there any risk it would change forum section or user permissions (viewability, etc.)?

Sometimes the error prevents me from getting to the page described there, though. In that case, what should I do?

And, whichever tool/way I should use, is there any risk it would change forum section or user permissions (viewability, etc.)?

akateisakate, their is no need to run that tool, flushing your DNS, and working with local storage and database driven options is only real ways.  I have marked this as solved as it has been over 2 weeks with no response.
